The OxyScan Inline system enables contactless, non-destructive inspection of any MAP package – precise, fast, and without cycle time loss. Ideal for integration into existing packaging lines for maximum efficiency in quality assurance.

The patented OxySpot label is a transparent O₂ indicator label.

It is positioned in the packaging (underside of the top film) and enables non-contact measurement of the residual oxygen content directly through the top film – ideal for MAP packaging.

Label ( transparent film) 20 mm, indicator color print slightly pink-transparent. Print size 12 mm x 3 mm

  • 100% inline inspection of all MAP packaging

  • Measurement of residual oxygen & tightness without product damage

  • No impact on machine cycle times

  • Data archiving & interfaces individually configurable

  • Minimally invasive label area (only approx. 12 × 3 mm)

How it works

The measuring principle is based on fluorescence technology:
A special dye is stimulated by UV light and emits light at a different wavelength. The intensity and time delay of this light depend directly on the oxygen content in the packaging.

A non-contact temperature sensor measures the ambient conditions to precisely correct the values using a compensation curve. Pulsed UV light ensures precise reference values.

Complete quality control

Each package is individually checked, documented and optionally archived – including configurable data transfer.

Increased product safety

Early detection of malfunctions or worn tools prevents scrap and rework.

Resource conservation

No packaging material is lost through puncture sampling – 100% non-destructive inline inspection.

Flexible
Packaging

Existing top-pack and flow-wrap films can be used. A small transparent area is sufficient for the measurement label.
