A selection of our customers

Biotech and Pharmaceuticals

Electrochemical and optical sensor technology enables high-precision measurements in liquids and gases – essential for biotechnological and pharmaceutical applications. For example, specially developed O₂ and CO₂ measurement systems continuously record the gas composition in the exhaust air from bioreactors, fermenters, or cell cultures. These highly sensitive sensors ensure precise process monitoring and thus support the optimization of cell growth and fermentation processes. The measurement systems are available as ultra-compact, low-maintenance fixed-installation solutions or as standalone devices with integrated gas circulation and a high-resolution touchscreen.

Food packaging / MAP

Maximum quality control through non-contact / non-destructive inline analysis of residual oxygen content and precise leak testing – without interrupting production flow. The patented OxyScan inline technology enables continuous, non-contact inspection of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). Thanks to sophisticated sensor technology, measurements are taken directly in the packaging line with minimal intervention in existing processes. Defective packages are automatically detected and reliably sorted out, ensuring the safety of all individual products and minimizing the amount of discarded items, unlike conventional methods.

Digital printing

Highly sensitive oxygen sensors monitor the O₂ content in all common ink systems – from water- and solvent-based inks to UV-curable formulations. In ink production, precise O₂ control ensures that the oxygen content remains within tight process limits:
Too high an oxygen content leads to bubble formation and impairs ink homogeneity, while too low a value can trigger gel formation in UV-curable inks and clog the print head. In addition to quality control in ink production, the sensor technology also enables precise inline monitoring in digital printing presses and the early detection of leaks in the ink circuit, thus minimizing downtime.

Laboratory applications

UMS microsensors (electrochemical) with a diameter of just 4.7 mm / approx. 3/16" combine the highest chemical resistance with maximum precision. They are specially developed for demanding long-term measurements in aggressive media such as acetone or strong acids. Gas-tight adapters and 4–20 mA transmitters ensure reliable integration into stationary measurement setups, while flexible digital interfaces enable seamless connection to existing process control systems. Compact, high-performance handheld measuring devices are available for mobile applications – ideal for precise, mobile analyses in research, development, and quality assurance.
